Meet Our New Interns in Q1 2025!
We have had the pleasure of welcoming new team members who joined us as Intern Associates and have been helping us support our objectives throughout the first quarter of 2025. We invite you to get to know them and their experience at PATA!
Alfikri Muliadi - Events Intern
Hola! I go by Alfie. I am a Banyak Islander from Indonesia and have been living my best life exploring places out of my island. Connecting to the cosmopolitan world has positively inspired me to grow and learn new things everyday.
Despite my academic background in the English Communications program at my college, I strive to seek more opportunities beyond and to give back to the community and planet. Just like a popular Arabic saying that goes " مَنْ جَدَّ وَجَدَ - Whoever strives shall succeed."
Jyotirmaya Pradhan - Membership Intern
Hi everyone! I’m Jyotirmaya Pradhan (Joe) from Nepal. I’m currently working with the Membership Team at PATA.
I’ve always believed in the power of networking to create meaningful connections, and that is one of the things I truly value in my role here. The exposure I get to the global tourism industry and the chance to connect with professionals from all over the world is something I really appreciate.
Tourism has always been close to my heart, especially given Nepal’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Being part of PATA gives me the chance to work with a diverse group of people who share similar values.
I’m looking forward to continuing this journey, connecting with new people, and contributing to the growth of the tourism industry in a positive and impactful way. Feel free to reach out—I’m always open to connecting and learning from others in the field!
Michaela Escalambre - Youth Intern
Hello, everyone! I'm Caela, an International Hospitality Management student from the Philippines. Over the years, I've had the privilege of meeting industry professionals and hearing their stories. Aside from that, I also count myself lucky knowing that I've had the chance to plan, head, and execute multiple events at my college due to the scholarship team I was a part of. A main highlight in my college journey was getting the opportunity to attend the PATA Youth Summit and Youth Symposium 2024 as a Youth Delegate, and leading as an Internal Vice President for the Enderun Colleges Student Chapter.
I feel extremely grateful knowing that I now get to work at PATA as part of the Youth Department. It excites me to be able to work alongside people who share the same passion as I do for the tourism industry, and I can't wait to learn and grow from all my experiences here.
If you're interested in furthering your career in the tourism industry, or simply getting the chance to be part of a global community, PATA is the place to be!
Mya Myint Zu - Membership Intern
Mingalarbar Shint! This is Mya Myint Zu (Lily) from Myanmar, a final-year student at Bangkok University International, majoring in International Tourism and Hospitality Management. My love for travel, meeting new people, exploring new cultures has led me to this exciting industry.
Right now, I'm thrilled to be a Membership Intern at PATA HQ, where I’m diving deep into the tourism sector and keeping up with the latest industry trends. I take pride in learning new things, especially in professional operations and administrative tasks while making meaningful connections with my global seniors and friends at PATA.
With that, I can’t wait to contribute my skills and grow alongside this fantastic organization! Let's goooo 💫
Napa Arunrakthavorn - Marketing Intern
Sawasdee ka! Greeting from the land of smile :D My name is Napa or you could call me Tongfah/Sky, as all three names carry the same meaning. Although I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Culture from Chulalongkorn University, I've found it challenging to identify my true passion and chart a clear career path.
However, my journey with PATA has been a transformative one. It has unlocked countless opportunities and guided me on a path of self-discovery. While marketing was always an area of interest, I hesitated to pursue it, thinking it was outside my field of study. PATA has changed that perspective. The experience of working alongside a diverse and welcoming team has reignited my passion, challenged my capabilities, and revealed numerous exciting career possibilities within the travel industry.
Supathida Promlun - Events Intern
Hello everyone! My name is Supathida Promlun, or you can call me June. 😊 I’m currently studying Hospitality Tourism Management and Sustainability at Srinakharinwirot International College.
I’ve had the chance to work with PATA on exciting events like the PAS as a Youth Symposium in Macao, PTM, and as a president the PATA Student Chapter. 🌍🎉 These experiences have truly deepened my passion for sustainability and event tourism. 💚🌟
Being part of PATA and the event team has been amazing with the collaborative atmosphere is so inspiring, and I love working together to create meaningful projects. I’m so excited to learn and contribute more alongside all of you! Thank you! 🌟🙏
