Description
The ninth edition of the Connected Visitor Economy Bulletin (VE Bulletin) is now available to view or download.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) travel has become a significant segment of the global tourism market and its visibility will continue to grow as more countries adopt legislation that treats all of their citizens equally.
The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) offers support to tourism businesses worldwide that are interested in providing a more welcoming environment for LGBT travellers, which can then translate into greater dividends for those businesses.
In this month’s VE Bulletin, LoAnn Halden, IGLTA Communications Director, provides a snapshot of the LGBT market with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region and discusses trends and strategies for better engagement with this dynamic group of potential clients.
