Dakshika Bajaj- Marketing & Communications Intern

Namaste! I'm Dakshika Bajaj. With a profound passion for travel and tourism, I immerse myself in the exploration of diverse cultures, driven by a fascination for history, heritage, and languages. Equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Travel and Tourism from SNDT University, I delve into the complexities of human behaviour and global destinations. Proficient in French at a B1 level and deeply interested in history, I find joy in uncovering cultural narratives. 

Joining PATA's Team has been a dream come true for me. It has provided me with invaluable insights into the organisation's dedication to innovation and excellence within the travel industry. Through engaging discussions and practical projects, I've had the opportunity to enhance my understanding of sustainable tourism practices and community development, and I'm excited to continue contributing to PATA's mission of pioneering the future of tourism.

Insung Jang - Membership Intern

Hello everyone, I'm Insung Jang from Republic of Korea (ROK). I majored in hospitality and tourism management and also studied data science for interdisciplinary major at Sejong University. Having always been drawn to experiencing diverse cultures and embracing new challenges, the tourism industry has consistently been my desired field of work. Starting my career at PATA Membership provided me with invaluable experiences. I have always viewed tourism as the endeavor of giving happiness to people. Working in the field firsthand has allowed me to truly feel this and has inspired me to strive to become a better tourism professional. I am eager to overcome upcoming challenges, further grow, contribute to the advancement of the tourism industry, and bring happiness to as many people as possible.

Solbi Lee - Events Intern

Hello from Korea! I am Solbi Lee, currently working as PATA Events team Intern. Majored in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Sejong University. I'm lucky that I can stimulate my potential here in PATA. Participating in Pata Annual Summit 2024 became a milestone to consider and boost my capabilities in the MICE Industry. Furthermore, people who work for PATA impacted me a lot, which made me think of being a good member of society. I will improve myself and look forward to being at the centre of international tourism networking soon!

 
 

Vi Pham - Sustainability & Research Center- Sustainability Intern

Xin chào! Hello everyone, my name is Vi from Vietnam. I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree from Capilano University in Canada, majoring in Tourism Management and also a former Chairperson of PATA Canada Vancouver Capilano University Student Chapter. Being a PATA Youth Member was a massive opportunity for me as a student in my academic years. It gave me the chance to connect, discuss and understand more about the worldwide tourism industry beyond my university academic journey and Canada, especially in Asia - where my hometown is. 

Interning with PATA, especially in the SSR Team, is perfect for growing my skills and expressing my passion for Sustainable Development Goals and tourism. It's also an excellent way for me to keep contributing to PATA's work and continuing my passion in the wider sector, too.

Hello from Vietnam! I am a graduate student of International School - VNU, majoring in Sports, Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have always seen myself as a person of logic and technicality, and I always find it exciting to uncover the stories behind data. My wish is to be able to contribute my best self to the world and make a difference. I guess all that about me has led me to become a PATA intern and I am excited to have had so much meaningful experience with PATA so far.

Yerin Jo -Youth Intern

Hello everyone, I’m Yerin, who is based in Seoul, Republic of Korea. I had worked as an English magazine reporter in my university and a salesperson at NIKE after graduation. I try to get involved with lots of experiences in various fields. As a youth associate, I really enjoy the internship period in PATA as part of the Youth department and look forward to learning about the tourism industry in detail and being helpful to the mission of PATA.

 
 

Yunah Jung - Marketing & Communications Intern

Hi there! I'm Yunah Jung from Korea(ROK).  I'm thrilled to share my journey as a marketing intern at Q2 in PATA. My passion for tourism, marketing, and working in multicultural organisations led me here, where I've been diving deep into the world of travel. 

Working within the vibrant hub of PATA, I've had the incredible opportunity to fuse creativity and productivity into our marketing endeavors. Moreover, It was an invaluable experience to learn marketing insights into the realities of event industry work.

About the PATA Internship Programme

The PATA Internship Programme provides students with the opportunity to learn about PATA and the travel & tourism industry on an international scale. Interns will be required to perform operational, support, and administrative tasks in various parts of the organisation.
