Youths in the PATA Internship programme are from different nationalities and backgrounds around the world. Yet they have two things in common— a love for travel and a desire to learn.
Interns perform operational, support, and administrative tasks in various parts of the organisation. We provide on-the-job training with senior staff members, benefiting both the student and employer.

What We Offer:
Workplace Type: This internship is offered both remotely and onsite. Check here to see if the department you are applying for is hiring onsite or remotely.
Duration: Three (3) months. The 3-month periods are defined as such: Jan–Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul–Sep, Oct–Dec.
Working Hours: Full time- 5 days a week, 9 AM – 5:30 PM (GMT+7)
Academic Credit: You may get academic credit from your institution of higher education for the internship. Check with your university to confirm their academic credit policy for internships.
Allowance: Monthly allowance is offered to onsite internships. Inquire at YTP@PATA.org for more information.
Visa: If necessary, PATA will provide relevant supporting documents for your visa applications.
Who is Eligible?
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Programme or above, or within two years after graduation
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Familiar with Google Suite tools and/or Microsoft Office
Strong cross-cultural understanding and interest in working in a different culture
Self-motivated and mature person, with a highly collaborative mindset
Passion for travel and tourism

Yes, internships longer than 3 months are possible, subject to negotiation with your department head and based on your interview or performance during the initial 3-month term.

The PATA Internship Programme is highly valued, and several of our full-time staff began as interns. While it doesn’t guarantee a job, interns are often prioritised in the recruitment process, and the experience serves as a strong foundation for a career in travel and tourism.
