Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development
Chongqing, located in mid-west China, is the country’s only municipality with a population exceeding 30 million. With over 3,000 years of history, Chongqing is a national historically and culturally significant city. Surrounded by majestic mountains and rivers, it has earned the nickname “8D Magical City” among tourists both domestically and internationally.
The city is renowned for its abundant and unique tourism resources, including breathtaking natural landscapes, vibrant folk traditions, and a rich cultural heritage. It is home to four UNESCO World Heritage Sites and was recognised as the world’s first “Global Capital of Hot Springs” by the World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy (FEMTEC) in 2012.
Between 2017 and 2018, Chongqing was ranked the “World’s Top 10 Fastest-Growing Tourist Cities” for two consecutive years by the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC). In 2019, it received the “Red Coral Award” as one of Asia’s Top 10 Popular Cultural Tourist Destinations of the Year.

Gyeongsangbuk-Do Culture and Tourism Organization
Gyeongsangbuk-do, a province in Korea, is home to the largest collection of national treasures, treasure-class cultural assets, and UNESCO-designated cultural heritage sites in the country, earning it the nickname “Korea within Korea.”
The Gyeongsangbuk-do Culture and Tourism Organisation is committed to promoting the province’s rich cultural and tourism resources. With a longstanding connection to the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the organisation was a member of the PATA Korea branch for many years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 1979, during the PATA Seoul Annual Summit, the organisation provided the Yukbucheon building as the venue for the PATA workshop, demonstrating its dedication to fostering global collaboration in cultural tourism.
To further showcase the unique offerings of Gyeongsangbuk-do, the organisation has applied for renewed PATA membership. Plans are underway to propose Gyeongju as the host city for the PATA Annual Summit in 2026. Gyeongju, with its upgraded infrastructure following APEC renovations, offers an exceptional setting for such an internationally significant event.
Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcast-TV and Tourism
The Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcast-TV and Tourism is a government organisation dedicated to promoting the cultural, media, and tourism sectors of Chengdu, a city renowned as a cultural hub and tourist destination in China. The bureau plays a vital role in preserving and showcasing Chengdu's rich cultural heritage, enhancing the city's global visibility, and fostering innovation in cultural and creative industries.
Key responsibilities of the bureau include organising cultural events, supporting the development of the film and television industry, advancing tourism infrastructure, and promoting Chengdu as a leading international tourism destination. The bureau also works to integrate the city's cultural, culinary, and natural resources to create unique travel experiences for both domestic and international visitors.
CocoaSAP is a digital platform designed to enhance the quality of life and wellness. The name "CocoaSAP" combines two elements: "Cocoa," the seed popularly used in chocolate production, which is beneficial to health, helping to relieve stress and beautify the skin; and "SAP," derived from the Greek word meaning "relaxing and feeling good." Together, CocoaSAP signifies a life experience that promotes enhanced quality of life and wellness.
Established during the coronavirus pandemic, CocoaSAP was created to address the growing need for wellness-focused solutions. Recognising the global trend prioritising health over wealth, CocoaSAP goes beyond being a travel platform. It caters to individuals seeking a better quality of life by offering outdoor sports, wellness, and healthcare experiences. These activities are designed to naturally promote health and well-being through beautiful journeys, fun excursions, delicious Thai cuisine, and relaxing activities in fantastic and friendly destinations.
DISCOVERY MICE COMMUNICATIONS is a distinguished global consultancy specialising in tourism policy, planning, and communications. As an Affiliate Member of the UNWTO from 2009 to 2020 and serving as the Regional Vice President for East Asia & the Pacific, the organisation has demonstrated leadership in the field.
Founded in 2004, the consultancy is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for vibrant tourism growth and sustainable tourism practices. Its role as the Implementing Agency for the ASEAN Roadmap for Strategic Development of Tourism Corridors and Ecotourism Clusters underscores a strong commitment to the ASEAN region. Over the years, Druk Asia has grown into a leading Bhutan travel specialist, offering a comprehensive range of travel services while becoming a key representative of Bhutan’s national carrier, Drukair (Royal Bhutan Airlines), in Singapore.
