PTM Forum: The Current State of Travel Media

The COVID-19 pandemic presents a severe threat to the entire travel and tourism industry, affecting every single sector of the industry from airlines, cruise lines and hotels to travel agents, tour operators and travel media. As the industry looks towards recovery, communication is essential in rebuilding travel confidence by providing clear and authoritative information for both industry stakeholders and travellers alike. Travel media will be an essential component of this process but how has the current crisis affected them? How have they adapted to survive in this current situation? What stories are catching the most attention of their audience? Most importantly, how can stakeholders work with travel media as we look towards recovery?

Join us at the PTM Forum on “The Current State of Travel Media”, on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 1600 ICT and hear from Anne Banas, Editor, BBC Travel (BBC.com/travel); Karen Yue, Group Editor, TTG Asia Media; and Stuart McDonald, Co-Founder, Travelfish.org. Registration is complimentary.
