Introduction
The course aims at promoting the development of tourism between China and the Afro-Asian region. Tour operators from Asian and African countries are encouraged to foster continuous exchange and explore the promising potentials.
To raise awareness and secure mutual understanding about the respective tourism markets, this online course will be the foundation for successful collaboration.
Why Participate?

All successful participants will become certified and receive the certificate of “China Travel Expert” by the China Association of Travel Services.

Tour operators with official certification are entitled to:
supply chain preferential policies, including preferential policies for local tourist destinations offered by the participating Chinese local culture and tourism authorities;
special offers by local travel agencies in China;
preferential packages of OTAs;
discounts of hotel groups;
preferential policies of airlines, etc.

Successful participating tour operators can get the support of the sub-association for inbound tourism of the China Association of Travel Services and gain access to pre-sale tourism products in China with preferential polices.

Certified tour operators may share training-related content on their personal or corporate social media accounts. Tour operators generating visibility and awareness by high volume of “likes” will be given an exclusive opportunity to join on-the-spot tour route investigation tours in China.

Episode 1: Must-visit Metropolises in China
In the first course of the course, the video walks you through some of China’s most important cultural, natural, and mixed heritage sites that travel advisors should know about, as well as the two major cities in China- Beijing and Shanghai.
Episode 2: Popular Tourist Destinations in China
In between the two metropolises situates a number of popular tourist destinations, including Suzhou, Hangzhou, Xi’an, and Ningxia. In the second course, the video introduces the attractions, gastronomy, entertainments, and most importantly, transportation and recommended itinerary of these four destinations.
Episode 3: Most distinctive places in China and Guangdong-Hong Kong SAR-Macao Greater Bay Area
The Greater Bay Area and the destinations nearby are gaining popularity among tourists. In this video, you will learn about all the important facts that will come in handy for a tourism professional: attractions, gastronomy, entertainments, accommodation, recommended itineraries, and history and culture of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Guilin, and Guizhou.
Episode 4: Lovely China Around the Corner
To create an outstanding tour, it is essential to be familiar with China’s transportation, accommodations, and how Chinese people go about their days. This video explains, in detail, all the transportation options to arrive in the country from West Asia and Northern Africa, travel across cities, and commute within the destination, as well as tools and amenities that will offer great convenience while travelling in China.
Episode 5: Welcome to Beautiful China!
Last but not least, in the final chapter of this course, the video presents four routes that connect the destinations introduced above. From suggested length of the product down to detailed daily itineraries, you will wrap up all your learnings from the course through a solidified picture of how you could design your product offerings.
