Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia: Quarantine Waived for Fully-Vaccinated International Arrivals to Cambodia!

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 15 November 2021 - From 15 November 2021, fully-vaccinated travelers entering Cambodia through all international ports of entry (land, air and sea) are no longer required to serve mandatory quarantine. To qualify for the quarantine exemption, travelers will have to provide two documents: (i) certificate of full COVID-19 vaccination and (ii) certificate of “Negative” COVID-19 PCR Test Result with 72 hours’ validity, both of which have to be issued and recognized by competent authority of their home country. Plus, travelers will have to undertake COVID-19 Rapid Test and wait for 15 to 20 minutes for the result. If the result returns negative, travelers will then be able to travel countrywide.

Non-vaccinated international arrivals to Cambodia will still be required to serve a 14-day quarantine after taking COVID-19 PCR Test at their port of entry. Meanwhile, those who are currently quarantining in Cambodia will be allowed to finish their quarantine on 15 November 2021 on the condition that they do not test positive to COVID-19.

It is worth noting that Cambodia has fully inoculated nearly 88% of its entire population while the “Booster Dose” roll-out and COVID-19 vaccination for the 5-year-olds are on-going.
