The public sector, in collaboration with the private sector, launched the New Year Countdown for the 2024 Celebration, attracting tourists to experience the festivities. Pattaya will set up party alongside the beach with enchanting themes while Bangkok will transform Siam Square— the heart of the city into “POPpiness Spark Up”, offering a remarkable experience for this year-end festival.
Around 25 million foreigners traveled to Thailand, generated over 1 trillion Baht income annually. Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand (MOTS), has revealed Thailand’s tourism situation in 2023, covering the period from January 1st to December 3rd. The top 5 countries—Malaysia, China, South Korea, India, and Russia—have played a crucial role in tourism. Furthermore, Thansettakij’s report on the hospitality and aviation sectors unveiled a remarkable turnaround, with profits surging to a staggering one hundred billion baht. This surge is attributed to the increasing influx of tourists, showcasing positive signs of growing travel trends.
