The PATA Annual Summit and Adventure Mart embraces a global tourism forum that brings together international thought leaders, industry shapers and senior decision-makers from both the public and private sectors to address issues and opportunities in the development of a responsible and sustainable travel and tourism industry in the Asia Pacific region. In conjunction with the event, the PATA Executive Board & PATA Board Meeting take place during this time.
The Adventure Travel Mart component brings together tourism professionals involved in adventure travel and responsible tourism for unparalleled networking and contracting opportunities to help them access decision makers, meet new clients, expand their networks, establish new relationships and consolidate existing business partnerships.
This year’s topic focuses on tourism as a tool for responsibility and sustainability. Sessions will cover topics such as industry forecasts and market trends, crisis management, and social media marketing.
The four-day programme consists of one-day PATA internal meetings for PATA members only (Executive Board & Board Meeting, Chapter Congress, and Government Meeting), a conference and adventure travel mart taking place across two days, and the PATA Youth Symposium, as well as various networking events throughout the event.
