BANGKOK, May 10, 2022 -- The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is pleased to welcome Dalberg as its newest enterprise member. Dalberg is an impact advisory group operating from more than 30 locations worldwide that brings together strategy consulting, design thinking, big data analytics, and research to address complex social and environmental challenges. Dalberg works collaboratively with communities, institutions, governments, and corporations to develop solutions that create impact at scale. Founded in 2001, it maintains a commitment to bringing innovation and private sector approaches to international development while championing inclusive and sustainable approaches to driving growth.

Liz Ortiguera, CEO of PATA, said, “We’re excited to welcome Dalberg to our PATA community of global changemakers working to build a more inclusive and sustainable world. We share many common interests, in particular, developing thought leadership and driving action in the areas of sustainable and regenerative business models, inclusive and resilient urban growth and gender equity.”

Layusa Isa-Odidi, Partner, Dalberg Advisors said, “We are thrilled to become part of such an important organization. Tourism is a critical part of the solution to many of the economic and environmental challenges we face today. As the tourism sector continues to recover from the pandemic, now is an ideal moment to work collaboratively with PATA and its members to help rethink what a responsible travel and tourism industry looks like.”

Joining the Association will strengthen Dalberg’s ability to assist governments, investors, and communities to create stronger links between travel and important environmental and human outcomes. The collaboration with Dalberg helps enhance the Association’s offering to partners and members across all business areas within the travel sector by leveraging Dalberg's 20 years of working on development challenges with corporations, governments, NGOs, bilateral donors and the UN system.
