Vice Minister for Tourism, The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities - Arab Republic of Egypt

Ghada is the holder of a Certified Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism from the Hotels & Tourism Faculty of Helwan (Class of ’92) with a grade of Very Good with Honours. Following university graduation, she has received several professional trainings in Egypt Air and British Airways. She also joined American Express Travel and Card Services and held leadership positions both locally and internationally. Afterward, she Joined Kanoo Travel, one of the top travel companies in the Gulf and the Middle East, as Project Manager for its branches in the United Kingdom.

She has received a grant from the company for training in Leadership and Strategic Development within the Head Office in the United Kingdom, including courses at the American University of Cairo such as Modern Business Management, Corporate Structure, Tourism Marketing, Corporate Financial Management, Tourism Economics, and Global Management Trends.

Through her positive contributions, she was chosen to lead the company’s branches for 5 years where she successfully managed the team, while receiving a widespread amount of knowledge and experience working in international companies and franchises. She had also participated in many regional and international tourism exchanges and mastered extensive skills in discussing and negotiating commercial agreements and contracts in the travel and tourism industry, including deals with airlines, hotels, charter airlines, and global tourism exporters. She also has on-hand experience in promoting tourism digitally.

Through management at American Express Travel and Kanoo Travel, she has stimulated inbound tourism to Egypt including special tours and conferences for business travelers.
