H.E. Try Chhiv

Director of the Department of International Cooperation and ASEAN, Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia

Try Chivv is the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and ASEAN Department, the Ministry of Tourism in Cambodia. He is also the Advisor to the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia, while acting as the Director of the Secretariat of National Committee for Tourism Professionals. TRY has dedicated to the civil service for over 14 years, developing Cambodia’s tourism industry and expanding it to international level. With his professional learning in business management, he has consulted on multiple national projects and tourism-related activities of various departments of the public sector.

His global experience across France, Cambodia and Vietnam allowed him to face new challenges, discover new paths, and achieve success in numbers of team tasks. He is fluent in French and English and holds two Master degrees in International Business and in Strategy, Management and Finance.
