Karen Shepherd is the focal point for Kuching as a City of Gastronomy under UNESCO. A writer and content creator, she was instrumental in crafting the application for designation in the network, and in kickstarting the project over the first year of Kuching’s designation. Through her own award-winning website, www.ceravasarawak.com, she tells stories about Sarawak and its unique culture, building on her varied experience constructing narrative for print media, documentaries, events and book publications.
