Meenakshi Sharma

Smt. Meenakshi Sharma is a 1988 batch Officer of Indian Audit & Account Service. She currently is the Director-General (Tourism) in the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and has previously served as the Additional Director General (Tourism) and as the Director-General (Professional Practices) in Comptroller and Auditor General of India. She did master’s in International Business & System Analysis from the Delhi School of Economics.

She has also been the Accountant General in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. She had a fellowship award for General Accountability Officer of USA and has evaluated the reform process of World Health Organisations amongst many other multi-lateral organisations.

She has served in various capacities in the Government of India in NDMC, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances.
