Mitsuaki Hoshino

Vice Commissioner, Japan Tourism Agency, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

Mr. Hoshino is the Vice Commissioner of International tourism Department in Japan Tourism Agency, appointed in July 2022. He oversees multilateral and bilateral exchanges, promotion for the visit Japan, and MICE promotion etc. He worked as Representative, Taipei Office Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association prior to the current position, after various assignment within Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). His career also includes a diplomatic posting at the Hong Kong SAR Office, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in China.
