Mohamed Amine Gabbouj
Intern, International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA)
Gabbouj Mohamed Amine is a young motivated student at the higher international institute of tourism in Tangier, Morocco. During his academic years, he developed a huge interest in social work. He was the student’s representative, Lion’s club Vice President and was also part of the student council.
A huge lover of reading, one of the main subjects that interest him the most are diversity and equality therefore he believes that big changes start with small steps.
Considering LGBTQ+ tourism as an important lever on an economic and a social level, working with IGLTA will be for him the opportunity to expand his visions about this type of tourism.
He strongly believes in equality for all and is currently working on a master thesis under the theme of « Racial, Gender and sexual orientation equality in the tourism sector » therefore he joins Christiane Taubira’s saying: « peace is neither the balance of terror nor the supremacy of the strongest. Peace is this fragile common construction, ceaselessly stitched together over injustices and inequalities that we must persist in fighting. »
He is based in Mohammedia Morocco and can not wait to start travelling again.
