Global Partnership Specialist with UNICEF Private Sector Fund Raising Partnerships headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland

Shweta is Global Partnership Specialist with UNICEF (United Nations Children Fund) Private Sector Fund Raising Partnerships headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. She is responsible for multimillion strategic partnerships with key corporate partners and is also the member of ACT-A/COVAX task force.

Shweta has also worked as Partnership officer for UNICEF in India, where she was responsible for Public sector partners, Global partners (IKEA Foundation, Gates Foundation, Rotary International) and key corporate partners. Shweta has also led Gulf Regional Office of UNICEF in Dubai on the private sector partnerships.

Prior to joining UNICEF, Shweta spent eight years as a Child Rights Programme Manager, during which time she developed and implemented programmes addressing gender justice and equity in education, healthcare, land ownership, and urban governance for multiple international organizations including CARE, Action Aid and USAID. She was also Head of Partnerships and Fundraising at Sehgal foundation and at Population Services International in India before moving to UNICEF.
