A tourism strategic planner with over 20 years experience in tourism research, planning, development and destination marketing. Was Director of Research and Development with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority for over 15 years. Joined the regional Tourism Organization of Southern Africa (RETOSA) again as Director of Research and Development, for 9 years. I later became the Executive Director of RETOSA from 2014 to 2017, heading the organization for three years. Am currently the Secretary General of the African Tourism Council. I remain passionate about the sustainable development of tourism and how it can contribute to the economic development of African countries.
