Dr. Supawan Teerarat

As a president of National Food Institute (NFI), Mrs. Supawan Teerarat has a passion and ambitiously leads to drives the food industry development, covering services of innovation & technology, R&D, laboratory testing, training and enhancing capabilities of the food entrepreneurs, Information Intelligent, and domestic and international network.

She worked in the hospitality industry for more than 39 years starting from the segment of tourism to chain hotels, and to the MICE industry. Before joining NFI, she worked at Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), under Prime Minister’s office, cultivating her expertise and professional path in the Business Events industry for over 16 years. She began as a Director of Exhibitions and later on promoted to be a Vice President of the strategic business development, overseeing the international departments of Meeting, Exhibition, Mega Event and Domestic MICE department. She held her last position at TCEB as a Senior Vice President supervising the departments of Innovation & Intelligence, MICE Capabilities, Domestics MICE, and MICE City Development.
