PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: EXODUS 2025 “Beyond Borders”
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 14 & 15 February, 2025 - PATA India Christ University Student Chapter in collaboration with Masters of Tourism and Travel Management of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus, successfully hosted EXODUS 2025, an intercollegiate tourism fest on February 14-15, 2025. This flagship event provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their expertise in tourism management through competitive events, cultural activities, and insightful industry interactions. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Thomas Mathai, Director of Riya Group, who emphasized the evolving landscape of travel and tourism, inspiring students to embrace innovation and sustainability in the industry.
The two-day event featured a series of engaging competitions such as Mad Ads, Treasure Hunt, Niche Itinerary, and Best Manager, along with cultural performances and panel discussions. The TRAVELOGUE magazine, a publication by postgraduate students, was also unveiled during the inaugural ceremony. The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Mr. Babu Koshy, Director of Hayson Group, who lauded the participants for their creativity and strategic thinking in tourism planning. The event saw participation from prestigious institutions like IHM Bangalore, Pondicherry University, and St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, further enriching the competitive spirit and networking opportunities.
With over 96 students competing at an international level, EXODUS 2025 proved to be a resounding success, fostering industry-academia collaboration and enhancing experiential learning. The event concluded with the prize distribution and a vote of thanks, reaffirming its significance in shaping the future of tourism professionals.
About PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Founded in 2020, the PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university. The members are encouraged to participate in activities hosted by the chapter, focusing on various industry concerns, including sustainability and industry development.
