PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Tourism Trailblazers: Inspiring Future Industry Leaders at Christ University

Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 27th September 2023 – PATA India Christ University Student Chapter successfully hosted the Tourism Trailblazers Career Talk, an event designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to gain industry awareness, explore various career paths, and engage directly with leading professionals in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Over 150 attendees participated, gaining invaluable insights from a distinguished panel of keynote speakers.

The event featured keynote addresses from Ashok Jugran, General Manager at Bird Group; Kasi Viswanathan, Executive Chef at Radisson Blu-Atria, Bengaluru; Garima Pande, Co-Founder of Wandering Jane; and Bala Nicholas, Founder & CEO of Dreams Events & Services. These industry leaders shared their experiences and insights, offering guidance and inspiration to the students and enhancing their understanding of the dynamic landscape of the tourism and hospitality industries.

Tourism Trailblazers achieved its objectives of increasing industry awareness, career exploration, and fostering industry interaction. The event provided students with networking opportunities, aligned their academic pursuits with professional aspirations, and offered exposure to entrepreneurship within the tourism sector. The positive outcomes of the event highlighted the importance of direct engagement with industry professionals in shaping the future leaders of tourism and hospitality.




About PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter:

Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning across undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university. The members are encouraged to participate in activities hosted by the chapter, focusing on various industry concerns, including sustainability and industry development.
