PATA India Iim Sirmaur Student Chapter : SATTE Visit 2024

Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, India, 24th Feburary 2024 - Students from the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur attended the South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo (SATTE) 2024 on February 24, 2024. The group included students from both the MBA and MBA-TM programs, guided by our faculty member in Tourism Studies, Mrs. Sana Maidullah, and our Placement Chairperson, Dr. Karthikeyan Balakumar. They helped the students navigate the expo, which featured travel and tourism companies from around the world, including segments like Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, airlines and many more.

At the expo, students interacted at various stalls to learn about business models, target customers, industry segments, and current demand in the Indian market. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to network with leaders in the tourism industry, benefiting our institution's goal to establish itself as a leader in tourism education.
