Coffee Break Talk Series 2021 Post Event Report

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 1st of October 2021 - PATA Malaysia HELP University Student Chapter introduces our very own World Tourism Webinar Event 2021 in conjunction with this year's theme which is Tourism for Inclusive Growth and was conducted on the 1st of October 2021 via Google Meet and did a Facebook Live on our Facebook Page. Our Student chapter was very fortunate to have Mr. Uzaidi Udanis, Mr. Eric Sinnaya. Mr. Andrew Sebastian as our disguised speakers for this Webinar Event. Each speaker talked about their respective topics that correlated with the theme (Tourism for Inclusive Growth) and it was a successful event done by our student chapter which we have improved so much more from our previous webinar event.

Before this event was executed, our student chapter was able to discuss and delegate the tasks for the upcoming Webinar. With the time constraint for most of the members of the student chapter, we were able to help one another and gave each other support where we needed. The Chairperson - Ms. Alyssa guided her team on certain areas where they needed help but also let them have the freedom to lead in the task given and supported her co-host Ms. Debbie (new member of our student chapter) for it was her first time to host and contribute her efforts to our Student Chapter. 

During the webinar the audience was actively involved and gave their ideas and questions, they either opened their mic or type it in the chat box. Even though our speaker was facing a little bit of network lag during the webinar, luckily everything was resolved smoothly.

Our webinar poster was posted on the 23rd of September, 368 people have reached it on Facebook. Furthermore our teaser video release on 29th September has reached 256 people. On Instagram, 9 people gave the post a “like” and 5 people have visited our profile. According to the insights of Instagram, the post reached 44 accounts. For the teaser video, we have reached 383 accounts and have 67 views. In addition, through our registration link, we have already received 78 responses seeking to attend our webinars.
