PATA Malaysia HELP University Student Chapter Webinar: INFLUENCE OF TECHNOLOGY IN TOURISM & HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 30th June 2022 - PATA Malaysia HELP University Student Chapter introduces webinar which was conducted on the 2nd of April 2022 via google meet and did Facebook Live at our Facebook Page. This was a collaboration with tourism and hospitality students in HELP university. We were fortunate to have Mr. Jimmy Chow, Mr. Reku Yagisawa, and Mr. Jai Kishan as speaker. They talked about “INFLUENCE OF TECHNOLOGY IN TOURISM & HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY” and it was a successful event done by our student chapter and students from HELP University.
The Chairperson - Ms. Ako delegated the tasks for this event among PATA members and Help university students. With the time constraint of finals week, we were able to help one another and gave each other support where we needed it.

We managed to invite 30 participants. We had 32 registrations but we could not meet those 2 people. This webinar went really well with a lot of debate and discussion between students and industry players. We managed to carry out the session with our speaker smoothly.

For this event, some of our members visited speakers’ offices and did live interviews from two venues. Even though this style of webinar was the first time, it was successful by having a special debate among those three speakers.
