Leadership Coaching Session for PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter Committee Members

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 20th July 2021 - On Monday, PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (MTSC) participated in the First Leadership Coaching Session initiated by Mr. Jonathan Low (CEO, Coach and Speaker of Global Success Learning Academy). This coaching session aimed to enhance the leadership skills of the committee members by recognizing their strengths and weakness.

Furthermore, the coach aimed to transform these weaknesses into strengths to empower their leadership skills by coaching them for three months. Hence, the coach will approach them individually every month to have personal coaching sessions. The development of these leadership skills will support PATA MTSC and is expected to empower them for future career development.

This session was attended by 11 senior members of PATA MTSC(Teresa John Dines, Fionna Fernanda, Corin Ramadhani, Jocelyn Rusli, April Lim, Mizaan Ally Ahmed, Kelly Andre, Kelly Christie, Triyanto, Tiefanny Tandian, and Winston Supardi) and Dr.Thanam (the advisor of PATA MTSC). Both Mr. Jonathan Low and Ms Fanie Shariff coordinated this introduction session effectively. After the welcoming speech by Dr.Thanam, Mr. Jonathan clearly explained the objectives, benefits and process of this leadership coaching session. Then, all participants were asked to briefly describe their life goals and what leadership means to them. All members actively and creatively participated in this session. Before ends the 1-hour session, Mr.Jonathan asked the students to block the individual coaching session in the Calendly application. The follow-up session will be conducted in August and continue for 3 months.
