PATA Philippines LPU-Manila Student Chapter Searches for New Leaders to Lead Young Tourism Professionals in the Industry
Manila, Philippines, 1st-4th August 2023 - As a new semester starts, the PATA PH LPU Manila Student Chapter selects student leaders for executive committee positions through a competitive process.
The applicant screening was conducted through MsTeams. There were 25 interested applicants for the executive committee positions, each scheduled to be interviewed. Three days are allotted for the interview and the 4th day is for the final deliberation. The candidates underwent a rigorous process since they are only given 20-minutes to showcase themselves. A passion for tourism and a willingness to mentor others are essential qualities for all candidates.
This call for leadership aimed to recruit passionate individuals dedicated to upholding PATA's mission and goals. These new leaders will play a vital role in organizing travel and tourism-related educational programs, community projects, and discussions relevant to the evolving tourism landscape.
The PATA PH LPU Manila Student Chapter, strives to provide a platform for young tourism professionals to connect, contribute, and shape the future of the industry. Through various initiatives, the chapter fosters collaboration, business opportunities, and networking bridges between students and established PATA members.
