PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter Host Inspiring Event: Fast Forward Your Career in Tourism

Bangkok, Thailand, 18th March, 2024 - PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter organized a significant event titled "Fast Forward Your Career in Tourism" on March 18, 2024. The event attracted a diverse audience of students and industry professionals alike, featuring information sessions, booth visits, panel discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from student MCs representing the PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter, followed by an opening address by Asst. Prof. Dr. Somyot Wattanakamolchai, Vice President for International Affairs at Bangkok University. Khun Ben Montgomery, Chairperson of PATA Thailand Chapter, further emphasized the event's importance, setting an enthusiastic tone for the day.

The informative sessions included an overview of the PATA Bangkok University Student Chapter's activities and future plans, providing attendees with insights into the chapter's initiatives and achievements over the years. Mr. Eunkyu Chun, Youth Ambassador & Membership Executive at Pacific Asia Travel Association, highlighted internship opportunities within PATA, encouraging student engagement and professional development.

A highlight of the event was a dynamic panel discussion featuring prominent industry figures: Ms. Watcharee Churugsa, Asst. Director-General of DASTA; Mr. Ratchadet Suksin, Head of Operations at Central Department Store's Product and Service Academy; Mr. David Barrett, Consultant Events & Tourism Expert at DBC & Partner Ltd; Dr. Pinnaree Tea-makorn, AI Strategist and Lecturer at Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University; and Mr. Eunkyu Chun, who discussed the evolution of tourism, future trends, and technological advancements shaping the industry over the next three decades.

The "Fast Forward Your Career in Tourism" event was highly successful, providing participants with profound industry insights, networking opportunities, and the chance to learn from seasoned professionals.
