PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter’s Impactful Experience at PATA Travel Mart 2023 in New Delhi

New Delhi, India, 4-6th October, 2023 - The PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter had an unforgettable experience at the PATA Travel Mart 2023 in New Delhi. The representative members celebrated the achievements at the Award Presentation and gained inspiration from the award-winning presentations, enriching the knowledge and motivation.

The PATA Travel Mart 2023, held from October 4th to 6th in New Delhi at the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) in Pragati Maidan, was a significant event for the travel and tourism industry. This event marked the return of the physical version of the Travel Mart after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. It brought together over 1,000 delegates from 46 global destinations, including 159 sellers from 92 organizations and 196 buyers from 191 organizations.

Key highlights of the event included the PATA Gold Award presentations, the PATA Youth Symposium, and the PATA Forum on Sustainability. The Youth Symposium connected over 350 local and international students from 13 universities, providing valuable learning and networking opportunities. The event also featured insights into global sustainability trends and the evolving travel behaviors in India, emphasizing responsible and eco-friendly travel practices.

Attendees gained insights into global sustainability trends, the role of AI and machine learning in enhancing travel experiences, and evolving travel behaviors in India, such as the shift towards wellness and experience-based travel. The event facilitated numerous networking opportunities, knowledge exchange, and collaborative projects, offering participants a deeper understanding of sustainability, technological advancements, and current travel trends to apply in their professional endeavors.
