PATA UAE Higher Colleges of Technology is Hosting the Upcoming COVID-19: New Digital Solutions for Recovery Webinar

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 28th May 2021 – The Covid-19 pandemic has put global tourism to a standstill with borders closing down and health protocols tightening up to ensure public health safety. The steady decrease of travelers resulted in many tourism destinations and businesses struggling to continue in an economy that depends on tourist receipts.

With the current situation, the tourism sector needs tourists out and moving to continue businesses but on the other hand, the health sector must ensure the citizens are safe. The question now is, “how can these two different perspectives find the balance?”

This one and a half-hour online event will explore relevant tourism topics industry professionals and students can take from:

●       The tourism sector’s perspective regarding the past and current imposed travel restrictions,

●       Recovery plans and new digital solutions, and
