UNWTO has designated 2020 as the Year of Tourism and Rural Development.
This Year is an opportunity to promote the potential of tourism to create jobs and opportunities. It can also advance inclusion and highlight the unique role tourism can play in preserving and promoting natural and cultural heritage and curbing urban migration.
Although the current global situation is a very important issue that continues to affect all of us on a daily basis, it can get tiring to constantly have it at the top of our minds. We get it. So instead, we’re using this theme as an opportunity to share inspiration and tell stories in parallel.
