The PATA Youth workshop, ‘How to Successfully Market Your PATA Student Chapter,’ was held online on January 27, and over 30 participants from PATA Student Chapters all over the world gathered despite the time difference. The speaker was Carma Chan, PATA’s Social Media Manager, who had once been a Student Chapter Leader. Participants were required to submit their homework of creating a social media post or writing an event description prior to the workshop.

ASSET-H&C, set in the Mekong region where females are especially the main employed group in Hospitality & Tourism industry, released a report with Plan International on acknowledging the current situation and pointing out importance of investment in women.

The PATA Quarterly Tourism Monitor (QTM) provides a quantitative view of the arrivals into all major destinations within the Asia Pacific region, comparing visitor arrivals by source market and percentage change against the previous year on a quarterly basis. The numbers have been released for the third quarter of 2020.
