The 3-day event, from June 21-23, brought together delegates from the public and private sectors for inspiring and insightful discussions on some of the major issues in marketing and managing tourism growth as the travel and tourism industry looks for new opportunities to promote sustainability within the industry

PATA and Visa's Informal Workers Programme has successfully concluded in Indonesia thanks to our project implementation partner Wise Steps. Ayu Masita, Wise Steps Group Co-founder and COO, shares with us the main challenges faced by the informal workers in Indonesia and how the programme was developed to assist them.

Spanning from May 30 to June 2, the event gathered leaders from the public and private sectors to convene on forging a sustainable path forward in the transformed area through digital innovations and valuable past learnings.

In October 2022, PATA began collaborating with Visa to develop two new online learning modules, Financial Skills for Tourism SMEs and Digital Skills for Tourism SMEs, which are currently available open-sourced at the SRC (Sustainability Resource Centre) platform. Learn more in this blog.
