Köprülü Canyon National Park
Designated as a national park in 1973, this breathtaking canyon stretches 14 kilometres in length and towers over 100 metres high, making it among Türkiye's longest canyons.
At the heart of the park is a stunning turquoise Köprüçay River. Adventure seekers flock here for world-class rafting, while those seeking relaxation can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters or try their hand at angling.
Beyond water activities, the surrounding landscape offers endless possibilities for exploration—from rock climbing and trekking to cycling and wildlife photography. Within the same national park lies the impressive Tazı Canyon, featuring steep rocks reaching heights of 400 metres surrounded by beautiful black pine forests. Here, visitors might spot wild goats, rabbits, rock pigeons, and eagles during their adventures.
The canyon also sits along St. Paul's Road, the second-longest walking track in Türkiye. Visitors can extend their journey with an exploration of the nearby ancient city of Selge.
After a day of adventure, travellers can unwind at riverside restaurants or extend their stay at one of the wooden bungalow hostels or camping areas within the park. Whether you're seeking adrenaline-pumping activities or peaceful communion with nature, Köprülü Canyon National Park delivers an unforgettable Turkish wilderness experience.
