Wakayama University: CTR Tourism Education Forum 2023 -“Improving Tourism Education and Developing Young Tourism Talent”

 
 
 

Japan - 23 November 2023 - The Center for Tourism Research at Wakayama University will be holding the Tourism Education Forum 2023 under the title “Improving tourism education and developing young tourism talent” on December 12, 2023.

It is critical for tourism program providers to maintain and ensure the quality of their programs and courses. In this forum, CTR will welcome Dr. Edith M. Szivas as the keynote speaker. She is a true leader in the field of Tourism Education and has dedicated her career to capacity development in the tourism sector as a UNWTO.TedQual certification auditor. In the panel discussion, four representatives from the UNWTO.TedQual-accredited institutions in Japan will discuss the future of tourism education and the capacity development of young tourism talent.
