Andreas Hofmann

Project Manager, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)

Dr. Andreas Hofmann is a part of the GIZ tourism’s sustainable development team that advises GIZ’s global tourism projects, as well as coordinates the cooperation between the tourism and private hospitality sector. Prior to his work in GIZ, Andreas worked for an EU Switch Asia project in Luang Prabang, and also as Managing Director for Asian Trails Laos.

He holds a PhD from International Centre for Research in Events, Tourism and Hospitality (ICRETH) at Leeds Beckett University and a Masters from SOAS, London..
