Lisa Choegyal is an international tourism marketing and product development consultant based in Kathmandu for past 50 years. With a background in the private sector, she worked as marketing director with Tiger Mountain group, specialising in quality wildlife, culture, trekking, adventure and village tourism in South Asia, and is director of the award-winning Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Since 1992 Lisa has undertaken tourism consultancy roles in Nepal and throughout the Asia Pacific region, often  in World Heritage Sites and protected areas. Lisa is a writer, editor and columnist on tourism and conservation (www.lisachoegyal.com)., She is widely experienced in production liaison for documentary and feature films, serves on a number of pro-bono organisations and Boards, and since 2010 is New Zealand Honorary Consul to Nepal.
