Madubhani Perera

Director/Public Relations, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau

Mrs. Madubhani Perera, joined then Ceylon Tourist Board in 1995 as a Management trainee. She was then promoted as an Assistant Director in 1997 and was responsible in promoting Asian Markets specially India and China. In 2004, she was recognized by Chinese Government for her contribution in promoting Sri Lanka in China. Since 2008, she has been heading the Marketing at Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and has carried out several promotional activities overseas with her team of 18 market officers responsible in handling promotions in key source markets for Sri Lanka. During the past 28 years of her career, she had represented Sri Lanka tourism at many promotional events held overseas promoting Sri Lanka globally as one of the preferred destinations. Currently she is heading the Public Relations Division at Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. He holds a Hons. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
