Dr. Pakkanut Bansiddhi has devoted her career into the study and research of elephants and elephant care tourism. Currently a Lecturer at the Department of Companion Animals and Wildlife Clinics, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Chiang Mai University, she has co-authored several publications and received numerous awards on the subject elephant care and welfare. She holds a Master of Science, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, all from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Chiang Mai University.
