Server Aydın

Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), iGA Istanbul Airport

With 23 years in the aviation industry, Mr. Server Aydın served as the Marketing Manager at Fraport Antalya Airport between 2001-2004. He later served as the Global Vice President of Ground Operations, Scandinavia Director and Regional Director for Africa and Western Europe at Turkish Airlines (THY) between 2004 and 2008.

Mr. Aydın served as Chief Commercial Officer at Sabiha Gökçen Airport between 2008 and 2012. Between 2012 and 2016, he stepped into the global market in the aviation industry and was appointed Managing Director of SunExpress Airlines in Germany, the group's Chief Commercial Officer, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Aydın, who took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian Airlines between 2016-2017, served as Chief Commercial Officer at the Ayla Oasis Development Company from 2017 to 2021.

Between 2021 and 2023, Mr. Aydın was appointed Regional Director of Operations at the Plaza Premium Group, overseeing their Indian and South Asian operations. Before joining our team in August 2023, Mr. Aydın held the position of General Manager at Abu Dhabi Airport, a subsidiary of the Plaza Premium Group. As of April 1, 2024, Mr. Server Aydın has taken on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at iGA Istanbul Airport.

Mr. Aydın began his education in the field of Business Science at the University of Kent in England and graduated with a double major in marketing and business from Deakin University in Australia in 1997. He then completed his MBA degree at Maltepe University in 2023.
