My educational background spans architecture, project management, sustainability and disaster risk reduction. Since 2016 I have been conducting extensive research into disaster risk in the tourism industry. I am now the Director of Standards and Accreditation at Hotel Resilient, which I co-founded in 2020. I have led our team in developing Multi Hazard and Climate Change Standards for hotels and resorts, as well as our COVID-READY Standards and Certification program. My interests are in supporting hotels, resorts and tourist destinations to reopen safely in these troubling times and to improve resilience to future hazards and risk.
