Smitha Amarail Mohanan has participated in two international conferences and presented papers on “Building strategic resilience to control pollution by incorporating Best Practices from Tourism sector” for the International Conference on Future of Business: Opportunities in a post-pandemic world-2022, organised by the Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur in association with AICTE; and a paper on “Role of Community Participation in Community-Based Ecotourism Ventures -A Review of Literature” for the International Conference organised by the School of Business and Management Bannerghatta Road Campus, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.

Smitha’s vision is to help rural women who live in vulnerable situations through tourism by seeking the possibilities and opportunities in the field which would enable them to have a good quality of life.
